Chiclana de la Frontera
A city located in the Cádiz province, southwest of Spain, in the autonomous community of Andalucía. It is located about 25 kilometers from Cádiz capital.
Founded in the year 1303, when King Fernando IV of Castilla handed over the Chiclanean lands to the House of Medina Sidonia. The center of the city was built around the 18th century. In the War of Spanish Independence, the battle of Chiclana took place between France and Anglo-Spanish allies. Today, the economic activity of Chiclana is based on modern industry and especially on tourism, particularly its beaches and its golf courses that are through El Novo Sancti Petri. The Novo Sancti Petri is the urban zone that has more hotels throughout the province of Cádiz and throughout the Costa de la Luz.
Novo Sancti Petri
It is the place of relaxation of the city par excellence. LA BARROSA
One of the best beaches in Spain. With a length of 8 kilometers, it begins at the cliffs of the so-called first track, where the seafront runs for 1 kilometer until the second track, where the central position of the Spanish Red Cross is located.
Along this kilometer, you can find different beach bars and restaurants.
It continues to the hotels’ zone where in the area of the Torre del Puerco, this magnificent beach ends, beginning at the end of Conil de la Frontera.
La Barrosa Beach is known for its large size and the quality of its waters and sand. Cataloged, as one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain, every year thousands of tourists visit it.
